Remedial massage

Michael Lester

Michael completed a Diploma in Remedial Massage at the National College of Traditional Medicine.

Working for many years at Physiohealth, he has treated a variety of patients with sports injuries, chronic back, neck and headaches. Michael also performs relaxation massage and is work cover accredited.

Celia Glewis

Celia has a Diploma in Remedial Massage and a Certificate IV in Sports massage. She studied at Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy and will complete her Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy this year.

Celia comes to us from a swimming coaching background of 7 years where she worked with State and Junior level swimmers. Some of her experience includes massaging at North Melbourne Football Club (AFL) for the 2010 season and on most Thursdays she can be found massaging the Melbourne Tigers basketball team. In July Celia attended the National Championships in Coffs Harbour with the Victorian Girls State Soccer team. She also worked closely with Physiohealth and the NTC squads last year.

Celia enjoys keeping active through Basketball and swimming. She also likes to run (especially with the ipod cranked up).

Though sports and deep tissue massage are her preferred style, she appreciates that massage is for any age and will adapt to what the client needs and wants.
