ABOUT ME

My time with Physiohealth started upon graduating in 2001 from the University of Melbourne, where I earned my Bachelor of Physiotherapy. I returned a few years later to complete my Masters of Sports Physiotherapy and became an APA Sports Titled Physiotherapist. I have worked across all clinics at times until settling permanently at our Footscray location.

MY APPROACH

Understanding your patients goals is first and foremost. I believe that a detailed knowledge of anatomy and the combination of manual therapy and a specific exercise program is the key to assisting patients achieve their goals.

AFFILIATIONS

Throughout my career I have worked with many elite athletes, most notably travelling internationally to World Championships and Commonwealth Games to assist both our national swimming and track and field teams. I have continued to gain experience working with elite sports programs to bring that expertise back to the clinic for the benefit of our Physiohealth patients.

I have been affiliated with several prestigious organisations, including

  • Athletics Victoria
  • Swimming Victoria
  • Athletics Australia
  • Swimming Australia
  • St Bernards Football Club

I served as lead physiotherapist for Track & Field and Swimming at the Victorian Institute of Sport.

PERSONAL

When I’m not at the clinic I enjoy spending as much time as possible with family. You can also find me keeping fit running and riding, having had a background personally in competing in athletics as a middle-distance runner. I am otherwise a general sport nut and a lover of music.

FUN FACT

I love winning the footy tipping competition every year!
