ABOUT ME
My physiotherapy journey began at The University of Melbourne, where I first completed my Bachelor of Science followed by my Doctor of Physiotherapy in 2022. Since then, I’ve had the privilege to help others as my everyday job and I’m thrilled to be part of the team at Mt. Waverley.
MY APPROACH
I believe in a person-centred approach, treating each patient as a person, not just a condition or injury. I aim to work collaboratively with patients to formulate specific, achievable, & enjoyable rehabilitation plans, where patients feel empowered & motivated on their road to recovery. My approach is centred on patient education & promoting self-management, guided by the latest available literature.
AFFILIATIONS
I have close affiliation with volleyball athletes from Volleyball Victoria & Volleyball Australia, and also work alongside athletes from the Commonwealth Games, Australian Fencing Federation, National Premier League, Swimming Victoria, Golf Australia, and Tennis Australia. I currently play in the Victorian Volleyball League (VVL).
PERSONAL
Outside of work I enjoying staying active and being mediocre across a variety of sports, whether it be tennis, golf, volleyball, running, swimming, or powerlifting. If I’m not playing sport, I am most definitely driving to sport, or on my way to eating copious amounts of food. Other than sport, sports cars, and eating, I spend my downtime hanging out with my pet cockatiel and poodle.
FUN FACT
In the last couple of years, I have recently taken up tennis, but my confidence has been rocked since losing to an eight-year-old at my most recent appearance.
