ABOUT ME
I’m James, and I’m thrilled to be part of PhysioHealth at the Mount Waverley branch. My journey in physiotherapy began at University of Melbourne, where I earned my Bachelor of Science. I then completed a Doctor of Physiotherapy in Gold Coast at Bond University.
MY APPROACH
I am a strong believer in holistic, client centred care through manual therapy, advice and education and client-specific exercise prescription. I am also fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and have a special interest in pain science, treating tendinopathies, sporting injuries and vertigo. I tailor each treatment plan around each client’s specific needs and goals to empower and motivate them. I do this through striving to take time in educating clients everything I know about their injury, using evidence-based practices to give them more tools to maximise strategies for their recovery. I also balance a mix of hands-on treatment and exercise prescription to help client’s achieve their goals.
PERSONAL
When I’m not at the clinic, you can find me baking different desserts, exploring new food places, going for a run or playing tennis.
FUN FACT
A little-known fact about me is I can solve the Rubik’s cube in under a minute!
