ABOUT ME

My career in Physiotherapy began at Melbourne University when I earned my Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Science) (2008) followed by my Doctor of Physiotherapy (2015).

MY APPROACH

Patient centered focus (but everyone says that right). My actual focus and passion is the education of clients to not only recognise injuries but also how to manage them back to “sport”. I think it’s important to appreciate that “sport” means different things for different people. You may be a national level swimmer or you maybe someone that enjoys a walk around the river. Or maybe you’ve never done either, but want to be able to play with your kids. Whatever your “sport” is I love working with people to maximise their ability to participate. Regardless of injury status.

PERSONAL

I’ve played Lacrosse for almost 30 years and while father time is knocking at the door on high level competition the love for the game keeps me engaged and keeps me active. The involvement in community really motivates me to continue showing up. Something we’re seeing more and more with the rise of running communities. This has made the segue to casual running an easy one. By no means am I any good, but the challenge of something new has been a great addition to my exercise programming.
