Melbourne Victory are A-League Womens champions for a second consecutive season after defeating Sydney FC 2-1 on Sunday 27th March. It was a great come from behind win considering they just scraped into 4th spot to make finals after having to play half their season of games in the space of just one month due to Covid and other issues.The girls put on a great display of class, resilience and strength to grab the win.
A massive well done to our very own Sharbil Wehbe who is Senior Physiotherapist at our Williamstown clinic/Head Physio for Melbourne Victory Womens, and Elise Elsworth, physiotherapist at our Essendon clinic, who have ensured the Victory girls have been fit and in tip top shape throughout a very challenging season.
